ClinicMate is a post-consultation dictation tool that helps medical practitioners create clinical documentation. The Service converts voice dictations into formatted medical notes using artificial intelligence.
3. User Responsibilities
3.1 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
3.2 Appropriate Use
You agree to:
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes
- Review and verify all AI-generated content before use in clinical documentation
- Not rely solely on AI-generated content for clinical decision-making
- Comply with all applicable medical documentation standards and regulations
3.3 Professional Responsibility
You acknowledge that ClinicMate is a documentation assistance tool and that you retain full professional responsibility for all clinical notes and documentation. The Service does not provide medical advice.
4. AI-Generated Content
The Service uses artificial intelligence to process dictations and generate formatted notes. You acknowledge that:
- AI-generated content may contain errors
- You must review and edit all content before including it in clinical records
- ClinicMate is not responsible for errors in AI-generated content that you incorporate into clinical documentation
5. Subscription and Payment
5.1 Fees
The Service is provided on a subscription basis. Current pricing is available on our website. Fees are billed monthly in advance.
5.2 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by ClinicMate and protected by intellectual property laws. Your dictations and generated notes remain your property.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClinicMate shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service
- Errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated content
- Service interruptions or data loss
- Any clinical outcomes related to documentation created using the Service
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ClinicMate from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
9. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
10. Modifications to Service
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will endeavour to provide reasonable notice of significant changes.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New South Wales.
